Abstract:

This research aims to provide an integrated framework that would make it clearer how strategic human resources (HR) can help organizations adopt sustainable energy practices. A thorough study of the literature was carried out on 97 peer-reviewed publications that were taken from large academic databases between 2019 and 2024. The report included a summary of organizational capacities, HR strategies, and sustainable energy projects. The effective adoption of sustainable energy practices is greatly aided by critical HR competencies such as eco-focused performance management, sustainability training, and green talent management. Three critical organizational competencies that serve as intermediaries between HR practices and sustainable energy outputs were found by the study: stakeholder involvement, green innovation, and environmental leadership. An integrated framework that shows the connections between these is suggested as the study’s conclusion. The framework offers HR professionals and sustainability managers a viable framework for coordinating HR strategy with sustainable development goals inside organizations. To further test and improve the recommended framework in a range of industrial and cultural situations, further research areas are suggested.
