Abstract:

This is a qualitative study, which describes learning through digital-based multiliteracy reinforcement in improving early reading skills in elementary schools. The data collection methods used include early reading ability tests, observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is processed descriptively with the triangulation method. Data collection through observation was conducted on 10 grade 1 students and interviews with one of the grade 1 teachers at SD Negeri Sudimampir 2 Padalarang West Bandung using observation and interview guidelines. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that early reading learning through digital-based multiliteracy reinforcement can improve early reading skills in elementary school. The results of this analysis will be used as a basis for determining students’ early reading skills so that they can compile learning tools, teaching materials, and learning media that can strengthen students’ multiliteracies.
