Abstract:

Delays in early detection of developmental disorders in children can affect the developmental function of children in the future. This study aimed to improve the ability to detect early developmental disorders in Pos Pelayanan Terpadu (Posyandu) cadres through psychoeducation and training based on community intervention. This research is a case report with a single-group experimental design. Participants were 11 mothers of Posyandu cadres, with the criteria determined through purposive sampling. The research instrument used the Kuesioner Pra-Skrining Perkembangan (KPSP) and a checklist of indicators for detecting early developmental disorders in children—data analysis using descriptive and Wilcoxon tests. The intervention was community-based through psychoeducation and training for early detection of developmental disorders in children. The results showed increased knowledge among Posyandu cadres related to child developmental disorders and the ability to carry out early detection.
