We’ve released our first open access book!

We are proud to announce the publication of our first open access book. It is the Arabic translation of Comparative Education Research: Approaches and Methods (طرائق ونُهج البحث في التربية المقارنة). This milestone marks a significant step in our ongoing commitment to advancing open access publishing and promoting the global exchange of knowledge across languages and disciplines.
The publication of this title was made possible through the financial support of the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research. The book was translated into Arabic by Hanan Mahmoud Abdelrahim.
Originally published in English and now available in more than ten languages, Comparative Education Research: Approaches and Methods has been widely recognized for its contributions to the field. This Arabic edition brings valuable perspectives to Arabic-speaking scholars by making the work accessible to a broader audience across the region.
The book emphasises the significance of comparative approaches and methodologies in understanding education systems and practices. It explores a wide range of analytical units, including places, systems, times, cultures, values, policies, and curricula, and situates them within broader theoretical frameworks that define the field’s purposes and strengths.
Publishing this translation as an open access title aligns with our mission to make high-quality academic content freely available to readers worldwide. Open access books play a crucial role in democratising knowledge by removing barriers to learning, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that research materials are accessible to all, regardless of institutional or financial constraints.
This launch marks just the beginning of our efforts to expand our open access book publishing program. We remain committed to supporting initiatives that increase global accessibility to academic research across languages and cultures.
