The contribution of the Al-Asifiyah School to jurisprudential studies, as well as other fields of knowledge, is well established amongst the scholarly community. More importantly, as a teaching scholar, Sheikh Abdul Aziz al-Samarrai has produced research in a variety of fields. His work in the Holy Quran Basics of Interpretation were particularly notable, culminating in his book The Basics of Holy Quran Interpretation.
