This study aims to analyze the effect of domestic apprenticeship programs on labor absorption in East Java Province. As one of the provinces with the largest number of domestic apprenticeship recipients in Java, apprenticeships are expected to improve skills, workforce competitiveness, and increase labor absorption in East Java. This study uses a quantitative method with panel data regression to estimate the relationship between recipients in the apprenticeship program and the level of labor absorption. Secondary data was taken from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the East Java Provincial Manpower Office, covering 38 regencies/cities receiving domestic apprenticeship programs during the 2021-2024 period. By using the control variables of GRDP and investment, the results of the study show that the domestic apprenticeship program (X₁) hals a signifilcant efflect wlith a positlive direlction oln lablor abslorption iln Ealst Javla Prolvince. Thle GRDP valriable (X₂) has a signifilcant efflect with a poslitive dirlection oln labor absorptlion iln Easlt Javla Prolvince. And Investment (X₃) hlas a significant effelct with a poslitive direction oln lablor absolrption iln Ealst Jlava Province.
