Marital commitment is an agreement between two individuals to fight for each other in maintaining their marriage with the aim of building a happy family. One of the factors that are thought to affect marital commitment is trust and communication quality. The population in this study were contract employees at PT.Bina Pertiwi in Cakung, East Jakarta as many as 359 employees with sampling techniques using purposive sampling and getting a sample in this study of 84 employees. This research measuring instrument uses psychological scales which include the marriage commitment scale, trust scale and communication quality scale. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis techniques with the help of JASP software version 16.0.1 for windows. The results of the study with a correlation coefficient value = 0.295 with p = 0.005 indicate that there is a positive relationship between communication quality and marital commitment in husbands who undergo long distance marriage with an effective contribution of 3.5%.
