Abstract:

This research aims to examine the blurry picture of the emptiness of the syiar of religious moderation as well as the users of content creators, the urgency of content creators in religious moderation on social media and broadcasting the value of moderation on social media based on the Qur’anic approach. The method used is library research by collecting data in the form of relevant literature from journal articles, books, reports, and news then analyzed and linked to research findings as an offer of problem solutions. The results of this research show that the vacant role of content creators in the syiar of moderation on social media has a significant impact on the integrity of diversity, which is evident from the dominance of conservative views that are increasingly emerging. The importance of moderation content on social media actually seeks to present humanist Islam, change views to be broader, and understand Islam as a whole. Spreading the message of moderation on social media is carried out by various elements, starting from the government through political action, the important role of religious institutions by educating the public, especially through the important role of content creators, for example Kadam Sidik in his content on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, voicing moderate religious understanding by packaging it in interesting and creative content according to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah. These finding have implications as a reference and pioneer in broadcasting religious moderation programs for the community through social media, making people in Indonesia ummatan wasato.
