Abstract:

This research aims to examine the extent to which the level of religiosity influences Muslim students’ career decision-making abilities. A total of 405 UIN Raden Intan Lampung students were randomly selected as research samples. Data were collected using the Centrality of Religiosity scale (CRS) and Career Decision Self-Efficacy Scale-Short Form (CDSES-SF). Data analysis using simple linear regression shows that there is a significant positive relationship between religiosity and career decision making (r = 0.540, P < 0.001). These results indicate that the higher a person’s level of religiosity, the higher the level of career decision-making ability of Muslim students. These findings provide important implications for educational counselors to develop more effective career counseling programs by integrating religious values in the decision-making process.
