Employee productivity is closely related to how well communication takes place within the organization. Communication effectiveness is the extent to which the message conveyed by the communicator can be clearly understood by the other party to achieve the determined results. Through this, improvements leading to a better direction will be easier to achieve. Open communication at work can build an effective and harmonious environment. With openness, information, ideas, and feelings can be conveyed honestly and clearly, ultimately increasing trust, collaboration, and productivity. Therefore, this study aims to explore the impact of effectiveness and openness of communication on employee performance. Effective and open communication, both vertically and horizontally, are important in improving motivation, job satisfaction, and overall employee Performance. A qualitative approach is used through in-depth interviews with employees and managers to better understand communication dynamics and their impact on work outcomes. The results show that effective and open communication facilitate the flow of information, encourage employee participation in decision-making, and create a more productive work environment. The main challenge in realizing effective and open communication is the structural and cultural barriers that exist within the organization. Organizational leaders, human resources professionals, and researchers, have a crucial role in identifying and addressing these barriers. These findings significantly contribute to understanding the importance of communication as a key factor in improving employee performance and organizational productivity.
