Novel Ranah 3 Warna is one of the forms of writing or bil qalam whose contents have a meaningful value of motivating text. Every text produced must have something behind the production of the text, hence the text cannot be interpreted as empty text. The meaning of the text is one of the smallest parts that has become a growing structure in society. This research studies the meaning of spirits in the novel from the perspective of social cognition, social context, text production, communication, and philosophy. Using Teun Van Dijks discourse analysis, this research aims to understand the meaning of the text as one of the developing structures in the text society made on the awareness, experience, and behavior specific to an event. The meaning of spirit, are two different words but have meanings that are interconnected. The results of the research highlighted the importance of linking texts that spread in society into a discourse in the analysis of meaning of spirit Discourse Text Meaning for novel readers and users of social media and digital platforms. The findings and conclusions of this study can be found from the text of the novel Ranah 3 Warna submitted. The result of the discovery shows that one is always longing and patient about the accomplishment and has to keep trying. The meaning of the dream is to be grateful and earnest in pursuit of ideals, and teach them to be close to God and to believe in what God has appointed. The social context of the novel Ranah 3 Warna in this study that every journey to the dream of success requires patience and sincerity, even if with sincerity there is still failure.
