Abstract:

This study looks at how artificial intelligence (AI) and digital media affect Islamic studies and communication in higher education. The research was done through a narrative review of existing studies. Using AI and digital media in higher education opens up new opportunities, making learning more varied and improving communication. This review sums up the literature to show how these technologies are being used in education and communication. It also analyzes AI tools that help advance Islamic studies, specifically the Islamic Education Management study. Additionally, it talks about how digital media makes it easier to access learning materials, encourages group learning, and keeps students more engaged. By employing library study or literature review by sorting out approximately 25 journals from 2021 to 2024, this study also considers the ethical issues that come with using these technologies, especially in Islamic education and higher education in general. By gathering information from different sources, this review highlights both the benefits and challenges of using AI and digital media in education. It also discusses what the findings mean for lecturers, students, and researchers, pointing out the need to balance technology with the values of Islamic education management themselves. This study aims to be a helpful resource for those adapting to the changing world of education in the digital age.
