Abstract:

The development of technology greatly affects children’s motor development. It is difficult to prevent technological developments such as smartphones from reaching children. This research develops augmented reality-based smart card media that can be used to improve children’s motor development. The research method used is development research (R&D). The six development stages are: Potential and Problem, Gathering Information, Product Design, Product Validation, Product Revision, and Product Trial. The research instrument is a validation sheet with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used descriptive validity criteria. The average assessment of media experts and the average value of product trial are 84.75% and 87.75%, respectively, with a qualitative score of very good, while the average assessment of material experts is 79.125% with a qualitative score of good. This research concludes that the development of SCAR Kids media is suitable for use.
