Abstract:
In the digital age that continues to grow, the phenomenon of children’s involvement as influencers in social media has become an important topic in discussions about the protection of children’s rights. This article describes the views of Islamic law on the protection of children’s rights in the context of their role as influencers by considering aspects such as privacy, security, and participation in activities that are compatible with Islamic values. Using the maqasid al-shariah framework as a foundation, this paper explores the social, cultural, and legal implications of the phenomenon of children’s involvement as influencers, as well as offering recommendations for policies and best practices to protect children’s rights. Through a holistic approach that considers Islamic legal, social, and cultural perspectives, this research aims to provide a comprehensive insight into how to take care of the well-being of children and protect them in the face of challenges and opportunities that arise in their role as influencers on social media. The study uses a descriptive-analytical method that relies on literature analysis, allowing the researcher to investigate and comprehensively analyze the writings from previous relevant research. Overall, it concludes that the protection of children’s rights requires a holistic approach based on a deep understanding of the principles of Islamic law, social values, and relevant cultural dynamics. By adopting the right recommendations and steps, it is hoped that a safer, healthier, and more supportive environment can be created for children to face the challenges and opportunities of this digital era.
