Abstract:
This article aims to provide an overview of the changes in Turkish political policy that previously did not affect foreign trade policy. However, the war between Israel and Gaza has made Türkiye sever its trading relations with Israel. Türkiye will not carry out any activities with Israel until a ceasefire and humanitarian aid is sent to Gaza. By carrying out a literature study using a descriptive analysis approach, the authors study the data that seems to suggest that the termination of this relationship is detrimental to Turkey given the significant inflation the country is currently experiencing. As a result of this termination, Israel’s aviation, weapons, and automotive industries will be disrupted. However, the results the authors found confirmed that the entrepreneurs who carry out foreign trade are the Jewish community in Turkey, so the circulation of capital will continue to be in the hands of the Jews. With the cessation of immigration activities with Israel, the circulation of Jewish capital in Türkiye will naturally slow down. Terminating Israel’s trade relations with Turkey will not significantly impact Turkey. Israel, on the other hand, will have difficulty procuring raw materials for its industrial purposes.
