Abstract:

The development of technology and the internet has created new opportunities for companies to expand their market reach. One form of change in digital technology is the rise of e-commerce, a digital platform that enables businesses to operate efficiently while prioritizing innovation and creativity. Unlike traditional business, online shopping relies on electronic networks, making it more dynamic and accessible. Thus, e-commerce is a technology-based business platform created to help companies achieve their business goals. This encourages SMEs to adapt and go digital. SMEs that adopt e-commerce experience business growth and development, with higher average sales than MSMEs that do not use e-commerce in Indonesia. This study was conducted using a qualitative content analysis method through library research. The findings of this research indicate that MSME business owners must develop their understanding of electronic systems and digital applications to improve marketing and sales strategies of the products or services they offer.
