This article aims to examine the legal protection efforts provided for victims of domestic violence (KDRT) at DPPKBP3A Bengkulu Selatan and analyze these efforts from the perspective of Maqasid Al-Syari’ah. The study is classified as field research, where primary data is obtained through interviews and documentation. The findings indicate that legal protection efforts at DPPKBP3A Bengkulu Selatan, with assistance from the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT), are carried out in two ways. The first is preventive protection, which involves early intervention through educational initiatives and other preventive measures, as outlined in Article 10 of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning PKDRT. The second is curative countermeasures, which focus on providing integrated support and assistance to victims. From the perspective of maqasid al-Syari’ah, legal protection for victims of domestic violence aligns with three key principles. First, victims have the right to physical and mental well-being. Second, they are entitled to protection of their right to a safe place to live. Third, they have the right to access meaningful education. Additionally, wives must be protected against physical, psychological, and sexual violence. These three principles are intended to create and promote justice for victims, provide moral and material support, and minimize trauma, in accordance with Islamic law. Specifically, legal protection for victims of domestic violence aligns with the objectives of maqasid al-Syari’ah, particularly in preserving reason (hifdz al-’aql), lineage (hifdz al-nasl), and the soul (hifdz al-nafs).
