Abstract:

This study reviews the phenomenon of imāla (vowel inclination), examining its various readings and phonetic justifications. It seeks to balance between classical linguistic interpretations and modern linguistic approaches. Given the scholarly debate between these two perspectives, this research aims to establish a scientific comparison by focusing on selected instances of imāla in Surah Aal-Imran, which effectively illustrate the main aspects of linguistic use in this phenomenon.
