Authors should ensure that all tables and figures are professionally prepared, clearly presented, and directly relevant to the content of the manuscript. They should complement the text rather than duplicate it, and must be easy for readers to interpret.

  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively in the order they appear (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1, Figure 2, etc.).
  • Each must have a concise, descriptive caption that enables readers to understand the content without referring back to the main text.
  • Figures should be submitted at high resolution to ensure quality in both online and print formats. Avoid low-resolution, blurred, or pixelated images.
  • Tables should be formatted consistently, with clear headings and well-organized data. Do not overcrowd tables with excessive detail.
  • All visuals should follow professional academic publishing standards in style and clarity.
  • Any figure or table reproduced or adapted from another source must include a full citation.
  • Authors are responsible for securing and providing written permissions for reuse, which must accompany the submission.

Placement should be clearly marked, and tables and figures must be fully labeled so that they can be easily identified during the review and production process.

Tables and figures should be placed within the body of the manuscript at the point where they are first mentioned, rather than at the end of the file.

  • An automated email confirms receipt of the submission.
  • The editorial board conducts an initial screening to assess suitability and quality.
  • Manuscripts that pass screening are sent for double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers.
  • Review reports are returned to the editor, who decides whether to accept, reject, or request revisions.
  • If revisions are required, the manuscript is returned to the authors for correction.
  • Authors typically receive a decision within 20 days. If no update is received, please contact publishing@knowledgee.com and the journal office.
