About the Journal

The International Journal of Service Excellence (IJSE) is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal published by Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It provides an interdisciplinary platform for high-quality research and practical insights on the design, management, and delivery of services that create value for individuals, organisations, and societies.

IJSE welcomes contributions from scholars, professionals, and policymakers across a wide range of sectors, including business, government, education, health care, and technology. By engaging both global and regional perspectives, the journal seeks to bridge academic inquiry with practical application and policy relevance.

Publication Model

All articles undergo rigorous peer review and professional editing before publication. Accepted articles are assigned a digital object identifier (DOI) and published online as part of an issue. Each publication records its submission, revision, and acceptance dates, ensuring full transparency of the editorial process.

Open Access Policy

IJSE is fully open access under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution licence (CC BY 4.0). Authors retain copyright in their work while granting permission for it to be shared, reused, and adapted with appropriate acknowledgement. No submission or publication fees are charged, reflecting IJSE’s commitment to inclusivity and the widest possible dissemination of knowledge.
