The latest research in service quality and customer experience
Aims and Scope
Mission
The International Journal of Service Excellence (IJSE) seeks to advance knowledge and practice in the field of service by publishing high-quality research that speaks to both academic and professional communities. The journal provides a space for critical reflection, theoretical development, and empirical analysis on how service can be designed, managed, and delivered to create value for individuals, organizations, and societies.
What We Publish
IJSE considers a wide range of contributions. We welcome empirical studies that generate new insights, reviews and conceptual pieces that integrate and extend existing scholarship, case studies that offer practical lessons, and policy analyses that shed light on the role of regulation and governance in shaping service delivery.
Scope
The journal covers the broad field of service excellence, with a particular interest in work that addresses contemporary challenges. We encourage research on how technologies such as artificial intelligence, automation, and digital platforms are reshaping service systems; how organizations innovate and adapt in response to transformation and changing customer expectations; and how new models of service leadership and quality management are emerging. We also publish studies that examine the role of public policy, regulation, and institutional frameworks in influencing service outcomes, and research that proposes fresh approaches to measuring and benchmarking performance.
By bringing together diverse perspectives, IJSE aims to foster dialogue between scholars, practitioners, and policymakers, and to build an international community of researchers dedicated to advancing the study and practice of service excellence.
