Annual Symposium on Applied Business Economics and Communication (ASABEC) 2023

This collection contains selected articles presented at the Annual Symposium on Applied Business Economics and Communication (ASABEC) 2023 held in Jakarta, Indonesia on 22 November 2023. The event was hosted by Politeknik Negeri Jakarta.

The conference brought together young researchers working in the Social Sciences to present and discuss their work on applied business, economic, and communication strategies.

This KnE Social Sciences collection features 50 peer-reviewed articles that provide key insights into how to improve existing business models and systems. Scholars of this collection explore strategies for sustainable and edu-tourism, the impact of local government policies on businesses, opportunities for polytechnic learning, and the processes impacting the production of rice and other staple goods. Together, these explorations assess the feasibility and effectiveness of different marketing and management strategies, as well as provide a detailed understanding of the factors that influence the success and productivity of businesses, for the benefit of local communities, employees, and a burgeoning youth population.

These articles will be of interest to researchers, academics, and practitioners working in the fields of accounting, business administration, communication, law, tourism, linguistics, economics, law, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
