The First Periodic International Conference on Administrative and Economic Sciences

This collection contains selected articles based on papers delivered at the First Periodic International Conference on Administrative and Economic Sciences / University of Fallujah held at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Fallujah, Iraq, on April 23, 2025, in collaboration with Al-Shaab University and Al-Idrisi University College.

The conference showcased practical and innovative solutions and best practices relating to the use of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, with a particular emphasis on promoting economic growth, modernizing management structures, banking and finance, and information systems, among other topics.

This KnE Social Sciences special issue contains 46 peer-reviewed articles exploring new advancements in digitalisation and public-private partnerships, with a central focus on promoting digital transformation in Iraq. This special issue evaluates how technology can enhance efficiency, transparency, and cybersecurity; combat corruption, support sustainable development and innovation, modernise administration, and entrepreneurship. This special issue also highlights how the public and private sectors collaboration in the areas of digitalisation can ensure sustainability, as well as financial and economic inclusion.

These articles will be of interest to academics, students or professionals researching or working in economics, finance and banking, and administration sectors.
