Abstract:
One of the ways to prevent the spread of Covid-19 is by planning and implementing appropriate transportation for Covid-19 patients which is efficient, effective and safe. There are many factors that influence the implementation of transportation for Covid-19 patients including the characteristics of nurses, hospital protocols, and special routes of transportation. The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation between nurses’ knowledge and attitudes, and the implementation of Covid- 19 transportation. A cross-sectional approach was used with a descriptive-correlative design. A sample of 211 nurses was attained using the snowball sampling technique. Data analysis involved frequency distribution, the Chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression. A significant correlation was found between the knowledge level of the nurses and the implementation of transportation for Covid-19 patients (p < 0.001), and between the attitudes of nurses and the implementation of Covid-19 transportation (p < 0.001).
